4 Easy Ways to Make Your Home Cozier for the Holidays

I absolutely love this time of year. I look forward to the food, music, decorations and parties! Over the years, I have perfected the art of coziness! Here are some tips and tricks to make your space feel cozier for the holidays.

Twinkle Lights

Line some unexptected areas in your home with twinkle lights. Some of my favorite places to do this are my bar cart, mantle, doorframes and around bedroom windows.

Candles, candles, and more candles!

I have a serious candle problem in general, but even more so around the holidays! Put candles in every room, even spaces you normally wouldn’t, like your home office. In my living room, I like to group together multiple candles in a bunch. The warmth of the light coming from every room will fill your home with coziness!

Pillows & blankets

I like to switch out my decorative pillows and blankets during the holidays. Try mixing and matching different textures like cashmere, faux fur and cable knit.

Fill your home with music

I love to have music playing constantly when I’m at home. Even if you aren’t actively listening to it, having something soothing playing in the background will make it feel more homey. My go to album to play around this time of year is George Winston December.
